Jack Trailer Stand supports allow for safe loading

Using heavy goods vehicle trailer supports, vehicle damage risk is minimised. This solution provides opportunity for calm loading and unloading of goods without a need to use a tractor.

During loading, proper securing of a trailer without a tractor is a key operation affecting safety of the loading operation.

Why should you use Jack Trailer Stands?
Safety first. The support is primarily meant to stabilise a truck during loading and unloading. Most of all, it is applied to prevent tilting and falling over of a trailer disconnected from a tractor. It is also meant to keep the trailer level at the same heigt. Thus, fork trucks operators may carry out loading/unloading procedure while the risk of the fork truck sliding down the ramp is minimised.

What may happen if supports are not used?
The trailer manufacturers recommend to use supports during unloading without a tractor – what is more, on some trailers, we can also observe stickers recommending use of additional supports. They know that insufficient control over the load generates high risk of serious injuries or even death in employees.

In case of accidents, it is the employer who is held to third party liability and criminal liability. It may imply a fine or even imprisonment.

If a trailer is not secure, the consequences of mistakes made are born by fork truck operators, third persons and the company itself.

Support maintenance
The support has self-levelling system, and its height may be adjusted at your discretion. It may be used indoors and outdoors, for trailers with weight up to 40 tonnes. The wheel system allows for easy and quick positioning of the support under the trailer.
